A la carte restaurant (blé)

Between beach and pool is located our beach bar restaurant. A variety of over 200 different traditional Greek and foreign plates can also change your scheduled summer vacation to a unique taste experience and to a brand new world of making travel for food experience. Affordable with larger than normal portions, all our plates and of course our service are organized for a single tip: your food satisfaction right after your swim. Our kitchen is open daily from 12:00 until 21:00 except the start and the end of season. Special diet dishes are available or under request.

Air Condition

It is central type air-condition with water circulation. Always keep your balcony doors closed otherwise the sensor in the doors may not let the ventilator to work. The water starts to circulate from 15:00 until next morning at 10:00. Do not leave your plastic key on the energy saver box, to have the air-condition working during the non-working time, because this will cause rooms’ overheating due to worm water which circulate from the ventilator during the day.

Balcony

Please always supervise your children when in the room’s balcony. Hotel has no responsibility for accidents due to improper supervision on children.

Bar  ( Beach / Pool )

Between beach and pool is located our beach / pool bar. Open from 10:00 until late at night, offers a variety of coffees, cold and hot refreshments, soft drinks, alcohol beverages and cocktails. We serve it directly to your beach or pool sunbed. Just press the button

Beach

We are very lucky and in front of our hotel there is a very natural, and easy to access beach, ‘DEMONAME’ is the name of the beach. ‘Blue Flag” and International award for clean beaches, clean waters, excellent service, sustainable environmental care was given to our beach for the past years also this season. Details for the program “Blue Flag” can be found either in reception area or by the beach parking area. Sand inside, pebbles outside is the structure of this magnificent beach. Douches, sun beds, umbrellas also available not only for hotel guests. A fee requires for beach sunbeds. Beach towels are available to have by hotel reception with a deposit.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00

Please notify reception in case of any special diet.

If you participate in a daily excursion and you depart before 07:00 am please contact reception until 19:00 in the previous day for further information how to get breakfast before. Breakfast baskets we do not provide due to health protocols.

Car rental / bike hire / moto rental / quad rental:

Please contact reception. We are happy to provide any necessary information about car details and prices. We can offer you the best prices in the market

 

Check in

The earliest check-in 15:00. Guests might arrive in hotel after 21:00, our night shift, will show the room and the rest of check-in procedure will asked to be done next morning.

Check out

The latest check out is 11:00. In case you depart earlier then 08:00 please settle down your account until 21:00 the night before. On your departure date and if you depart late, Hotel has 2 public douche areas where you can have shower before departure. Ask reception for more details.

Children playground

Children’s playground is open from 08:00 and 22:00. Please always supervise your children. There is always the possibility of severe accident of improper use of the playground or falling into the swimming pool. Hotel declares that has no responsibility in case of accident in the playground area.

Cleaning the room

A room cleaning is taking place daily between 09:00 – 16:00.
In case you do not wish to be disturbed, or cleaning is not required, please place the “Do not disturb” sign on the door. In case of allergies or special treatment, please contact reception and explain any problem. The change of white linen is programmed every 3 days. We change the towels every 2 days. Help us to help the environment with less washing detergent. Towel on the floor means “please change’. Towel put back on the holders’ means “I will use the same towels again”. Hotel provides towels for the beach or the pool with a deposit. The use of the white towels in the pool or the beach is prohibited. Please contact reception to get your pool / beach towels.

Dinner

Dinner is served between 19:00 – 21:00. It is buffet style but with soup, first plate, main course, salad buffet, ice-cream buffet, fruit and dessert. Guests without half board can also use our buffet for 13,00 € per adult per night, or 6,50 € per child (age 6 -12). Children younger than 6 if are accompanied with 1 adult can eat dinner without extra cost. Guests have booked their package with half board, cannot change their dinner with lunch.

Doctor – Emergency – Pharmacy – Hospital

In case of emergency a doctor can be called upon request. Contact reception for details.

There is only one pharmacy in Pythagorio city. It is near the taxi station in Pythagorio and for the opening hours please contacts reception for details. For small cuts or burns there is either in reception or in our beach bar restaurant a first aid box. Our trained personnel can help you. Also a defibrillator is available in the main hotel’s building near reception. Hospital is in Samos Town, almost 12 Klm away. Before you go to the Hospital for any reason, it is obligatory to contact your rep for help and instructions.

Environmental policy & measures

Help us shrink our ecological footprint with the following easy tips:·         Try to use the same towel more than one day. By not washing them every day will help us to earn few litters of water for each towel. If you want to change your towels, please let them in WC floor or better inside your douche tube.

  • Try to make a shower not with the hottest possible temperature. Use also a little cold to mix.
  • Do not leave the metallic with your key room into your room’s energy saver box during your absence from the room. This will helps Hotel to reduce the consumption of electricity while you are away and of course this mechanism reduce the possibility of fire from electricity because cut off the power.
  • Do not leave any food outside from fridge, especially chocolate or sweets or sugar. Ants can be found and follow sugar. In case of incident, hotel might charge you an extra pest clean control, as ants might be present also to other rooms except the one with the problem.
  • Do not use room’s towel for the beach or pool. Special towels for beach or pool you can get from reception with a deposit.
  • We have restricted the use of plastic in packaging and encouraged the use of glass
  • We have reduced paper consumption in offices, kitchens and restaurants and implemented programs for recycling and reusing paper
  • We recycle aluminum, copper and iron
  • We collect and recycle used batteries
  • We use energy saving lamps
  • We use liquefied gas in our catering and heating equipment to reduce CO2 emissions
  • We collect edible oils and fats and send them to be converted into biofuel
  • After complete biological treatment, we use wastewater to irrigate our gardens
  • We use environmentally friendly detergents to wash clothes and laundry.

Our gardens provides more than 2.000 KG of lemons, 300 KG of olive oil, 500 KG of oranges each year

 

Fire Extinguishers and fire plan

In case of fire, please do not panic. Inform immediately Reception by pressing “0” from your room’s telephone device. You find extinguishers on each floor, close to your room. They are easy to use if you want to do so. In each corridor, when you reach the stairs, there is a FIRE ALARM BUTTON. Just break the glass and press the button inside, it as you leave your room and you go straight to the stairs. Check fire plan which is located inside your room’s closet in advance for further information

Food and beverages

According the EU rules, it is not allow the consumption of any food in Hotel’s room. In case you want to have some chocolates or cookies, please do not leave them outside refrigerator during your absence. There are ants around – because Hotel is built in countryside – so be very careful with any food left over. If a ants be found in a room, rooms left and right will also have problem. If a problem with ants occurs, we have to make a special pest clean control. This may cost the closing of the rooms for a day or two. This cost will be charge to you. So, please be very careful. You are here for vacation as your fellow people in the rooms next to you. He / She have the same rights and obligations as you have. The existence of ants or any other pet or animal maybe be good for you but not for your neighbor. Any guest is very important to our Hotel. Disturbance of his good vacation time will affect yours vacation and pocket too. It is not allowed the entrance to the delivery boys. Tourist Police will be called for any violation of the above rules. About cleaning and hygiene Hotel is very strict and no excuses are accepted.

Local bus

In the main road – almost 350 meters from Hotel direction up on the hill – there is a bus station for the local buses. Buses plan available in reception area. Walking from hotel, reaching the asphalt, you can see Hotel’s sign standing. Looking the road and having your back to the sea, the bus coming from the left and moving to the right has direction to Samos Town. If the bus is coming from the right and heading on the left, then the bus is going to Pythagorio. Local buses are green with white stripes. A movement of your hand in front of Hotel’s sign will affect to Bus driver to stop and pick you up. Timetable of the local buses can be found in reception area in the information board. Please notice, that times refers in the timetable are with departure or from Samos or from Pythagorio stations. Time the buses passes in front of our Hotel’s sign are accordingly 4 minutes for departures from Pythagorio or 12 minutes for departures from Samos Town.

Parking

Free of charge for your own cars or rented ones. Motorcycles and bicycles can park in the designated area near the 2 brown doors. Free Parking area is also available by the beach, or behind the separate building above our pool.

Pets (cats, dogs, etc)

Hotel does not accept any pet in the room. In case a homeless dog or cat can be found, it is not allowed to be kept inside or outside (balcony or terrace) Hotel’s room. If you want to feed them, you can do it but not inside the hotel’s territory. You may be like and love cats or dogs or other animals but maybe one other Hotel’s guest do not love or afraid or is allergic on them. Do not force people to follow your wishes. We are all creatures’ equals under God’s eyes but still each of us can have his own way of thinking and living. Accept the differences. Especially in the sea and the sun-beds by the sea, try to send away any homeless animal may try to reach the sea and to swim to the same water our children do. If you want to do something for homeless pets, then contact and join the animal care group in Samos Town. Human life is valuable and there is no excuse to anyone if an animal cause the loss of a human life.

Quiet hours (public siesta)

Please do not make any noise which may disturb your neighbors between 15:00 – 17:00 and 00:00 – 07:00.

Please do not forget, neighbors have the same rights as you have and have paid also for vacation. Please respect them as they respect you.

Reception

In reception desk is always a person between 8:00 to 21:00.

If you leave earlier than 08:00, please settle down your account until 21:00 the night before.

A night man is available in case of emergency between 21:00 – 06:00

Breakfast service personnel will come on 06:00 and start preparing breakfast, so in case you might need any help between 06:00 – 08:00 please forward to breakfast buffet area for help.

You are kindly asked to leave the key of your room at the reception during the day. The hotel does not accept any responsibility for lost items or items not secured in room’s safety box. We accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX

Refrigerator

The 30 litter’s refrigerator which is located under your TV set and is always on from the beginning of the season. Work with ammonia and there is no motor running to hear noise. Do not fill it up but just leave some free space inside to circulate the air so can chill the items. It is included in the room’s price.

Safe

There is a safe deposit box in your room’s closet. You can ask the key from reception. The key costs 1,00 € per day and you pay the amount at the end of your vacation. For security reasons we have only 1 key, so please be careful with it.

Smoking

All rooms are strictly Non-Smoking rooms. You kindly asked to smoke only at your balcony.

Swimming Pool

Swimming Pool is open from 10:00 to 18:00. (High season until 20:00). For safety reasons, the swimming is not allowed at night. Eating or drinking products not brought from our beach bar restaurant is not allowed around the pool or in any other area of hotel surroundings. We kindly remind you that it is dangerous to swim after eating or drinking alcohol. Please read operation instructions near the swimming pool open area. We have pool towels available for use, under deposit. Check with our reception personnel. Do not use room’s towels in the pool area or beach area.

Sun beds

Sun beds in the pool are free for our guests. Beach sun beds costs 7,00 € per pair and the umbrella. Waiter service is available directly to your sun beds by pressing the button in the umbrella. Just press the button

Taxi

There is a taxi station to Pythagorio town. If you need a taxi to take you from Hotel to Pythagorio, reception can call one free of charge. The taxi starts from Pythagorio, so upon telephone, you have to pay an extra charge for this route. It is cheapest when you take a taxi from Pythagorio and heading to Hotel.

If you plan an excursion and you need reservation for a taxi, this can be arranged from our reception. Taxi’s reservation is required for pick up times before 07:00 and a charge is occurring. After that time, a simple call is enough without any extra charge for the reservation.

For reception please dial “0” from your room.

For outside line please dials first “9” and then the international code then the area code and finally the subscriber’s number. All incoming calls are forward to your room from reception desk.

Local calls are free of charge. This do not include Greek mobile phones starting with “69”

Walking Samos Island

Samos is a very beautiful and green Island. People who love excursions and walking to the country side have made a book with details for paths, times and sightseeing. This book is available upon request to read from reception personnel.

Walking to Pythagorio

Distance between Hotel and Pythagorio city is 2,5 Klm. If you want to walk, it will take you almost 25 minutes. It is not possible to walk to Pythagorio by the sea but only from the main roas. Keep always on the side which is nearest to the sea – use the left side to walk from Hotel to Pythagorio and the right side (it is the same with the one you come in) when coming back.

Water

Tap water is drinkable. We have 3 different wells to supply our hotel with water. Water tests results are available in reception for your information.
